Chris has been involved in Christian Ministry for some 45 years, 35 of them in ordained local ministry. He has been passionate about Church expressed through small groups since the early 70s. Whilst team rector of Thame in Oxfordshire he was involved in leading the Church in Church planting, and then transitioned it into a full expression of Cell Church. The work multiplied into some 45 groups. The greatest encouragement was that missional purpose and evangelism were at the heart of the ministry, and the Body of Christ grew through conversion rather than transfer growth.The Church also grew through its committment to a global perspective as well as its local mission engagement.
